Consortia and Collaborative Arrangements
Joining complementary capacities to enable large-scale decommissioning projects.
When a Consortium is Necessary
Decommissioning mature fields often requires specialties that rarely reside in a single company: from well P&A and subsea removal to shipyard dismantling and waste management. BRZ Decom helps identify and join these pieces.
How We Structure the Arrangement
Our action focuses on the legal and operational feasibility of the consortium:
- Mapping and selection of strategic partners.
- Definition of complementary technical scopes.
- Governance and leadership structuring (Leader Partner).
- Support in the preparation of MOUs and consortium agreements.
Benefits of the Model
The formation of consortia allows for the dilution of financial and operational risks, in addition to increasing competitiveness in major Petrobras and other oil companies' bids, offering a "one-stop-shop" solution for the field operator.
